Perhaps a bit of introduction.
For everything there is a time. It could be that for me this is a time to start a good old fashioned web log. It’s something that’s been skittering around in my head for a while like a curious and vaguely ambitious spider. There are a few reasons for this, though perhaps not completely concrete ones.
One thing is the catharsis that comes with getting things down in words. Another is having some sort of record of where I was holding at whatever point in time. Additionally, there is the aspect of working through and clarifying certain other skittering spiders.
In this last point, my current thought is along the lines of the Ramchal in the preface to Mesilas Yesharim “ללמד לעצמי ולהזכיר לאחרים”, that I will likely learn more from this endeavor than others will should they peruse it. Perhaps more on this another time.
In terms of categorizing content, it will probably be mostly on Torah, hashkapha and technology as they are the things that I have the most familiarity with. Maybe I’ll delve into other topics as well. Who knows.
